Pre-commissioning production tests under way in the new Tianjin (China) plant
Testing of all the machinery that has been installed in the Tianjin plant is now under way prior to the imminent start of Tectubi Tianjin Fittings' actual production process.
In the photos below you can see from left to right, in order: a 35-tonne positioner for the elbows in shells to be welded by a 1000A Submerged Arc Welding machine; the welding of an elbow in 30" shells; one of the treatment kilns (measuring m 10.9 x 2.9 x 2.4 - maximum temperature 1250°C), designed and built according to ASTM A991/A - 991M-98 and Annex B specifications and, finally, a detail of the burners heating the kiln during the "commissioning" phase.
